History will soon start, Achilles Formula Drift Asia, Indonesia Series 2011 will bring an unforgettable experience.

Set to run this weekend from 29-30 October at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, the event will see more than 35 drivers coming as far as the USA, Australia, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and of course Indonesia who will fight for the podium as champions honored.

Achilles Formula Drift Asia, Indonesia Series 2011 also will be enlivened with the attraction of national celebrities who will try out a drifter, followed the Celebrity Drift event. In addition there are a number of novice drifters who were given the opportunity to try his ability in this event. They are the final Pro-AM event.
According to Sherman Tan, Senior Director, Event Management Group, ESPN - Star Sports, it is committed to providing the best in modern sports spectacle in Indonesia through this event.

Achilles Asian Drift Series Agenda:

All the drivers will be showcasing their skills in the preliminary rounds on 29 October, after which the Top 32 will be selected.

On 30 October, it is a showdown of the best of the best as more drivers are eliminated to reveal the Sweet 16, Elite 8, and Final 4.

The best 4 drift masters will then go through a Concession Round to determine the 3^rd-place winner, and the grand finals will be a no-holds-barred, one-on-one drift battle to crown the first ever Achilles Formula Drift Indonesia Champion.

The Achilles Asian Drift Series is recognized as the highest echelon of professional drifting in Asia. Following on from the first-leg of the series in Singapore, FD Indonesia is the second-leg which will be followed by the third-leg of the series in Malaysia and conclude with the Grand Final in Thailand. The current series runs from June 2011 – February 2012.
